The standard version of the workstation is supplied with a socket and a cable gland.
UV radiation disinfects the work area by removing the DNA/RNA fragments during the deactivated during the 15 to 30 minute exposure. A digital timer controls the duration of the direct UV radiation. A daylight lamp provides adequate illumination of the work surface.
UV/LED Technology
Thanks to the LED UV light, the samples are irradiated at the optimum frequency to ensure proper sterilization.
The same effect cannot be achieved with standard UV lamps, as they provide a certain range of effective radiation, but not the most effective.
The frequency range shown in the diagram illustrates that the peak wavelength of UV light reaches 100% relative radiant flux at a more efficient 275 nm (as opposed to a lower 254.3 nm for standard UV lamps).
