Models

Darkroom C-70
The C-70 model contains two shortwave and two longwave UV tubes on one side of the housing.

Darkroom C-71
The C-71 model is similar to the C-70, but contains four 15-watt longwave UV tubes on one side.

Advantages of the one-sided mounting of UV tubes as in model C-70/C71:
Contrast between the fluorescent support layer and the dark spots of the sample is more visible.
Scattered light or side illumination would overexpose the image on the plate and make the spots more difficult to detect.
Better suited for thin-layer chromatography.

Darkroom C-75
The 254 nm and 365 nm UV tubes in the C-75 are arranged on two sides of the housing and provide uniform UV illumination for fluorescence studies.
