
The Q-TAS Series is an invaluable tool for temperature validation of any model thermal cycler or heating/chilling device utilizing a 384 well format block (3846 x 0.2 ml or 384 x 0.5 ml). This temperature acquisition device is supplied with universal probes that can be used in any of the preset 384 positions within the device.
The Q-TAS provides instantaneous readings from the selected positions within a block and records those temperatures at designated time intervals. The device can run as a stand-alone device with data being displayed on a built-in LCD.
Alternative, data can be communicated to your PC via a convenient USB port and using the provided ready-to-run Windows based software, real time graphical display of up to 96 individual sensors can be monitored. Software features include user-programmable alarm states, real time statistical analysis, user-selectable test parameters. Each probe has a unique internal identity chip that will provide permanent identification to ensure absolute identification of each probe for calibration and placement purposes.
